Even the Squirrel gets a spot! It's so cute and adorable and I just want to smoosh it with my face. Each bit of it is symbolic and ties into the story at one point or another. There will be angst and romance' but not in the sarcastically remarked way.

It's one of those book covers that makes me go, 'Oh yes. There is only one cover, which is the one that I added at the beginning. The angst was very well built up, and did not feel at any point during the novel that it was going over board or verging on paranormal territory. Not the My-Boyfriend-Is-A-Vampire type of angst, but the Oh-My-Goodness-We-Touched-Hands kind of angst that I live for.

This book was a complete emotional roller coaster of feels and angst. Right now, I'm struggling to put my feelings into a clear and concise way so that I don't come off completely crazy. Spoilers: I will not be able to review this without spoilers, because my feelings will not be contained by the fact that you have not read this magnificent book yet.so get on that! Spoilers. I'm not insanely into the cliche rom-com genre of book, but this one gently grabbed my hand and took me out on an unforgettable date. Surely Gabe and Lea will figure out that they are meant to be together.' Even the squirrel who lives on the college green believes in their relationship. The waitress at the diner automatically seats them together. Their bus driver tells his wife about them. The baristas at Starbucks watch their relationship like a TV show.

Their creative writing teacher pushes them together. But somehow even when nothing is going on, something is happening between them, and everyone can see it. Unfortunately, Lea is reserved, Gabe has issues, and despite their initial mutual crush, it looks like they are never going to work things out. They get the same pop culture references, order the same Chinese food, and hang out in the same places. 'The creative writing teacher, the delivery guy, the local Starbucks baristas, his best friend, her roommate, and the squirrel in the park all have one thing in common-they believe that Gabe and Lea should get together. Lea and Gabe are in the same creative writing class. I finished this book a few weeks ago, but just have not found the time to sit down and to compile all my thoughts and feelings about this book.
